About UKAIO
The United Kingdom Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (UKAIO) is a non-profit organization and the official body responsible for hosting the UK national AI competition for youth. It is the only organization in the UK authorized by the International AI Olympiad (IAIO,​ supported by UNESCO) to select members of the UK national team.
Open to secondary school and college students nationwide, UKAIO identifies and nurtures the most talented young minds to represent the UK on the global AI stage.
Our Mission
At a time when AI is reshaping every aspect of our lives, we believe the next generation must not be left behind. UKAIO exists to bridge that gap, offering high school students across the UK the chance to explore, learn, and lead in AI beyond the limits of the classroom. By fostering a national community grounded in education, innovation, and ethics, we aim to empower every student to find their voice and place in the age of AI.
